Silica sol precision casting employs nano-silica sol as the binder for zirconia sand and other refractory materials to construct multi-layer ceramic shell molds. Through the lost-wax casting process, it achieves high-precision forming of complex stainless steel components. This process can produce 304/316 stainless steel castings with wall thickness ranging from 0.5 to 5 mm and dimensional tolerance up to CT4 level (±0.1 mm/25 mm), with surface roughness Ra ≤ 3.2 μm. It meets the strict requirements for corrosion resistance and structural precision in chemical valves, food machinery, and marine equipment. Typical applications include special-shaped pipe fittings, thin-walled flanges, and pressure-resistant pump bodies. Through post-processes such as solution treatment and acid washing passivation, the intergranular corrosion resistance and mechanical properties of austenitic stainless steel are ensured to meet the standards.
